There's a pretty good chance that A&M will be like 10-1 or 9-2 when they start conference play against Kansas on the fifth of January. Granted, they've played a bunch of scrubs so far (they're 6-0), and they were 7-4 and 8-3 before conference play the last two seasons.
A&M's basketball record since Big 12 play began in '97:
1997- 9-18, 3-13
1998- 7-20, 1-15
1999- 12-15, 5-11
2000- 8-20, 4-12
2001- 10-20, 3-13
2002- 9-22, 3-13
2003- 14-14, 6-10
2004- 7-21, 0-16
So, my question is why Aggie Nation doesn't care about hoops? They've arguably have the best fans around for football, draw good baseball crowds, and even lead the nation in attendance for women's soccer.
I'm not talking shit, I am just genuinely curious how losing at such a clip is tolerated in College Station, especially with UT and Tech's recent successes.
