Yeah, I miss days like the summer of 1992, when the Spurs made a big splash by trading Tracy Murray's draft rights for Dale Ellis, signed Lloyd Daniels and Vinny Del Negro and traded for David Wood. :rolleyes

Considering the summer of '06 was equally boring I'll take it as a good sign.

I dunno . . . there seemed to be a lot of excitement when they traded Scola to Houston.
You know who has exciting offseasons? Lottery teams and those low-seed playoff teams that never contend.
We can't have everything, and I like what we do have much better than what Portland's had for 5+ years.

The last time we had an exciting offseason we took it in the ass from Dallas.

The Spurs should have traded Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker, just to create some excitement this summer.

drafting splitter was a steal when his stock plummeted down to us...previous seasons had he declared he was destined to be a lottery pick...
