This is a much better team than the USA has had in a while. I don't think they will really be tested much in this comp - Brasil will be the toughest, but they are missing some guys. I don't know if Argentina is playing, but they don't have pretty much the entire heart and soul of their team this year. I can't think of anyone who will challenge them.

Redd looked pretty good - had a nice shot tonight.

Yeah, no challenge....really no comments other than Miller and Redd shooting well and picking their spots. Still no real competition yet. I like the Trifecta of Kobe, Bron, and Melo, coupled with Kidd and Howard, it's going to be a long night for the other teams.

Chandler played sparse minutes, but he looked pretty bad, still having his mobility and blocking will help.

They look better than they did in the scrimmage, but they started strong like this the last time. Teams start to figure out how to attack them and how to defend them, and you'll see the scoring margins drop. If Kobe starts going 1 on 5 when things go bad they'll have the same problems they did before. I don't think there's anyone with the talent to challenge them, but I never thought Greece would whup them either.

BTW, anybody that says players in the NBA travel all the time without it being called have never watched a FIBA game. What's worse is, the only travel calls they make are either wrong or blatant.
