Here's one a lot of people tend to forget (for good reason, too).

Knight Rider 2000.

I was in the background of one of the scenes at Rivercenter Mall.

are they really splitting it up??Seems to be the case.

Death Proof is supposed to come out in September, and Planet Terror in October. Both with cut scenes put back in and sans the various scratched film/poor projection effects.

Then, undoubtedly, there will be a super duper nerd-tastic double feature release of it, but... who knows when? I'm still waiting on the fancy Kill Bill DVD that's coming out in theory.

where was that made?

Downtown mostly. I remember walking downtown one day and seeing a Columbian flag atop the Main Post Office. There were scenes shot in the hill country as well as Austin.

8 Seconds was shot in Boerne

Varsity Blues was shot here and in the hill country and Austin.

They did a scene at Murf's on San Pedro and a friend of mine was in it.

Lost Angels was also done in SA. It had Adam Horowitz from the Beastie Boys in it as well as Donald Sutherland.

DAMN.......why can't they just leave it as is.....part of the fun was watching 2 in one......AND the previews of course.Because the brain trust at Miramax thinks that the double feature format is a lot of what scared away theater audiences and they're hoping that a split release will help recoup some of the money they lost on the project.

All three should be made available at the same time, however. I think that Death Proof will probably benefit from additional scenes, but not Planet Terror. And none of the stories I've read seem to know what's going to happen to the trailers. They may not even be available on DVD.

The one with the cheerleaders? I would assume so, since some of it was filmed at UT stadium I think.

I think there was a movie with Tommy Lee Jones in it, where he was some kind of rancher that was filmed out in the hill country.

Sissy Spacek was the lead woman or somethin.
