Okay...Perez Hilton is claiming Castro is dead. Yet NONE of the media has any mention of it or an upcoming announcement. If it's true, they all got trumped by a gossip blogger. The comments are hilarious.

I just think it would be funny if a gossip blogger scooped the national media.

I don't think it's true, though. I'm sure something would have leaked by now. He's still claiming it's true.

The Miami news stations as well as the Miami Herald are saying it's not true.

Some commenters on Perez's site are saying they're seeing cops everywhere. Of course, they could be making it up. I would think the local news would have picked up on that.

Well I for one will mourn his loss. Call me a traitor I really don't give a damn, but what he did for the black race during a time when people saw us as subhuman deserves props in my book!!!

Cubans are great, don't get me wrong, but I think they are played up a bit too much relative to what else is available in the US. Still, I would like to see the embargo end at some point soon.
