The Mavs without Dirk would NOT make the playoffs. IF they catch a shitload of breaks with other playoff contending teams suffering injuries they MIGHT barley sneak into an 8th seed if all goes well but even that is a push. That is how tough the west is. Now we wouldnt be 20-62 but at best we MIGHT win 30-35 games. Not to mention teams would have a much easier time shutting down our offense because they wouldnt have to double team anyone.
