this topic is about to blow up with deep conversation about one of the richest programs in the country. Feel free to discuss any topic reguarding the Cowboys or their two good players that made it to the NFL.

We need an Oklahoma State forum... it's impossible for a single thread to capture that school's athletic and academic greatness.

good point. Although by adding a forum devoted to nothing but Oklahoma St. football you will be taking the risk of crashing Spurstalk.com all together. I don't think this site has servers that could handle that kind of traffic, the kind of traffic known only as Cowboy nation.

Ah, true. I didn't think of that... and we all have learned from the other glorious thread in this forum that only OSU fans have college educations and therefore, would have the technical skill and monetary capabilties to log-in, crash the site, and re-build it as BarrySandersTalk.com

They did make me a lot of money though, so thank you T. Boone and CaptMike for supporting such a shitty program.

where is Capt. Mike at? I want his feedback on the game this weekend. I just saw it as another loss by Ok St., but I'm sure he saw alot of positives.

I'm here. I'm just letting you guys keep bumping the thread so there is no way you can possibly bitch later in the year about OSU threads, especially when you created, are taking part, and are extending one.

So please, keep on bumping.

Oh, and my feedback on the game this weekend is that we got our asses handed to us by a better team. We looked flat, we didn't throw down the field, and as expected, our D line was porous (did I spell that right?). Major disappointment, IMO.

Not yet ready for prime time, that's for sure. Not impressed with our new DC at all.

Remember this in the future, you may not like what Capt Mike says, but Capt Mike ALWAYS says it how it is.

Haha, here's a quote from the jokelahoman:

No matter how badly you think you have it, there's always someone else in a worse position.

That's something Oklahoma State fans need to think about right now.

After all, you could be Michigan fans.

So, the Cowboys went to Dixie and got beat like a drum. That was still more respectable than what the Wolverines did, as little Appalachian State went into the Big House and activated Lloyd Carr's retirement.

Somewhere in Louisiana, Les Miles is packing his stuff already.

RonMexico
09-05-2007, 06:16 PM
I have to agree that the dig on Les Miles is funny. One thing OSU did give us: Les Miles crying in a press conference and the pending LSU fan meltdown when his terrible coaching becomes apparent.

Troy & Okie Lite are putting on an absolute tackling display tonight. There must be 50 high school teams in Alabama playing tonight that have better form and effort in their tackling than these 2 teams do tonight.

Bad tackling but a lot of scoring.

Well....Troy is anyway....34-10 3Q.

not quite sure why okie state made the QB change. if used properly - which isn't always the case - Reid is one of the most talented players in this conference.

also not quite sure why a lot of people were hopping on the Pokes bandwagon this offseason.

Robinson threw 2 picks tonight, but - without exaggeration - threw at least 8 or 9 other balls that could have been EASILY intercepted.

Actually, CaptMike should be putting his foot in his mouth once again after his Aggie rant in the Fresno St. thread. Oh, excuse me, I meant to use his favorite phrase, "aggrot" because CaptMike has the worst sense of humor of all time.

This absence is really surprising, and shocking. I could of easily done the same thing after the performance my team put up last night. And for the record, I never once pounded CaptMike when he was down... I know losses like this can be tough, but you have to rebound.

RonMexico
09-16-2007, 10:55 PM
It doesn't surprise me one bit, actually. Mike is all talk. He was on here ripping A&M when OSU beat them during the Big 12 tourney but was suddenly absent when Marist whipped on OSU at home in the NIT.

MajorMike
09-17-2007, 08:59 AM
Uh... how often am I here on a weekend? For the record, I never disappear, but nice try on a lame pile-on.

I am glad Michigan lost to App St so OSU doesn't have the worst loss of the year (altho arKy and L'ville gave it a run this weekend, too). Starting QB/RB hurt didn't help, but having a penalty every important play and coughing it up 6 times will doom you.

What a disgrace to the bigxii.
Thank you, Mr. #6 team getting lucky to beat UCF.

Obviously, the reason I have ronniedogkiller ignored is so I don't have to hear his lies. I never ranted about atm, I only posted facts about Fran and why I think he is the perfect coach for atm. I guess aggrots don't have a sense of truth.

Husker poking fun at Mizzou when you got embarrassed on nat'l tv? Yes, not as bad as OSU's embarrassment and yes it was to the #1 team in the world, but an asswhoopin is an asswhoopin wherever you go.

I hate to say it, but right now the B12 looks like uo and everyone else.

RonMexico
09-17-2007, 09:59 PM
I don't like reading Mike's lies again and again. He does not post truthes about the team and Fran as we described in the A&M vs. Fresno State thread.

Oh and "lame pile-ons"? How about the time Mike got on to talk about OSU beating A&M in the B12 basketball tourney?

1. oklahoma state sucks
2. USC is just that much better than nebraska...nebraska did not play poorly

John...

You're right. USC is just that much better than Nebraska. However, they did play poorly. A lot of missed tackles and missed assignments on the defense. Regardless, it's no excuse, and even with perfect play, USC would of still probably won by 1 or 2 touchdowns. Congratulations for a good team.

Well... no excuses but an injured starting QB, injured starting RB and 3-year starting center out with a broken fibula, not to mention starting WR who broke his back in the off-season all certainly don't help.

See Arkansas for playing poorly haha. If USC plucks Nebraska's top freshman and plants seeds in the state before it leaves after giving an ass woopiging... then you have a problem.

Our problem is still here and he's a fackin nut.

your ahead of Kent State, they are at 68 b/c of the one loss to Kentucky. Watch out for the Flashes. I'm calling for a Kent/Oklahoma St. bowl game.

It's funny, nobody at Kent goes to games. They have happy hour specials at the games to get people to go. You can get a 16oz beer for 2 bucks at a Kent St. game.

What the hell has happened to the MAC the past few years?

well to it's credit, Kent has always sucked. I went to undergrad there and mabye know of 5 games they won. Of the school's best NFL players(Jack Lambert, Antonio Gates) only one of them actually played football there.

But the MAC lost Marshall, who was decent. But I don't know, they must suck now if Kent is picked to win.
