I'm not real good at this (and torn up about this), but I've recently discovered my SO has been cheating on me with her supervisor. I have no patience with people who do this and a second chance is out of the question.

I plan on dumping her tonight in person (so I can hopefully retrieve some items) .... and I think I'd rather do it in public so

a) she doesn't go psycho and destroy my stuff.
b) she doesn't go psycho and grab something from her place and kill me.
c) she'll have to keep it together, and even if she doesn't , I can bail easily.

Any experts out there on the subject? Am i thinking correctly?

Any public places better than others?

The best thing you can do when you see her is say........."Its over" When she asks why.....just say "You Know". Walk away quietly and confidently......and never, ever speak a word to her again.

OK, so last night after we got home, I asked fatsack what the hell this whole drama thread was about. Because a) I'm NOT cheating on him with my supervisor and b) I'd never react in the manner he described if he ever confronted me about something and broke it off.

He didn't have much of an explanation except that he thought it would funny to stir up some drama on the board and give people something to buzz about. Well, anyone (here) who knows me knows I'm pretty drama free and stay out of most drama threads and situations anyway, so that didn't make much sense to me. Then I told him about all the PM's I was getting asking if it was true, and was I really cheating on my b/f with my boss, etc. So most of my afternoon was spent fielding those PM's and assuring my friends that I was NOT cheating on my boyfriend. Then I told him that even if it HAD been true, that my friends here would have had my back no matter what because if this had all been real, this would have been a pretty chicken $hit way of handling things because he KNOWS I read the boards off and on all day at work.

So then he got all pissed off saying that I must have some pretty sorry a$$ friends here at the board if they would have backed me cheating on him with my boss and we ended up fighting and eventually started bringing up crap that had NOTHING to do with the thread! And I mean stupid stuff like how he snores so loud that I can't sleep sometimes and he bitched about how my hair clogs up the bathtub drain and then threw in some lame-a$$ remark about how he hated my King Ranch Chicken...wtf???? It was ridiculous.

Finally around 1:30 am, I'd had enough. I was tired, crying my eyes out, hoarse from yelling, so I grabbed my suitcase and started throwing my stuff in it and he came into the bedroom to see what I was doing and tried to stop me. He grabbed my arm and told me to stop being silly and just calm down. He tried to apologize and asked me to please not leave, to just sleep on it and things would look better in the morning, but I wouldn't listen. I packed as much as I could in my suitcase and told him I'd come back tomorrow when he was at work to get the rest of my stuff and that I'd leave the key under the welcome mat when I left. I grabbed my purse and got my keys and just walked straight out the front door with him following me, and when I got out on the front lawn, I remembered that I hadn't driven home last night....we'd been invited to the Missions game last minute and he picked me up at work, leaving my Jeep in the parking lot. DAMMIT! He started laughing and that pissed me off even more, so I stood on the sidewalk and whistled for a cab and when it came near, the license plate said fresh and it had dice in the mirror. If anything I can say this cab is rare. But I thought 'Now forget it' - 'Yo homes to Bel Air'. I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 and I yelled to the cabbie 'Yo homes smell ya later' I looked at my kingdom I was finally there To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air.
