I probably would have but I want your guys' opinon first
deuce gets all the TD's and he gets some catching yards too
terry glenn > hines ward
what do all you other peeps think?
What are you needing? You downgrade at RB and you downgrade at WR. That trade doesn't benefit you at all.
Henry > McAllister
Ward > Glenn

are you serious?
fantasy wise mcallister is better than henry... more td's and about same yardage
and glenn did better last season... unless something big happaned this offseason i don't see why glenn wouldn't keep that up. TO?

fantasy numbers last year:
deuce 114
glenn 82
henry 98
ward 76
Ok, well if your league takes the numbers from last year and carries them over - by all means, make the trade.
Henry put up 98 points in 13 starts in Tennessee. Now, he's the full-time starter in Denver. Denver's system makes ANY running back a stud. Mike Anderson, Tatum Bell, Clinton Portis all put up great numbers in Denver. None has done anything like that since leaving Denver.
Deuce is going to take a big backseat to Reggie Bush. He's still going to get a lot of touches, but he's option #2 in a committee backfield. Deuce gets catches, I guess. It was 30-18 in favor of Deuce over Henry. Negligible difference. Reggie Bush had 88 catches in his rookie year. He's the #1 option out of the backfield, and it's only going to get worse for Deuce. He'll still be decent, but definitely not over Travis Henry.
Find any ranking out there that had Deuce above Travis Henry for this year.
The Ward/Glenn debate is closer - and it can go either way. If you feel more comfortable with Glenn, go with it. But, look at how his numbers differed when Drew Bledsoe hit the bench, and when Tony Romo came in. They dropped like a rock, while TOs skyrocketed. He'll still get looks, but Hines Ward is the #1 option in Pittsburgh, and there's no close #2.

now if i can get tory holt instead of terry glenn, would that change your mind?
Obviously that changes it - who are your other RBs and WRs?

I'd stick with your team man... I think Henry will be a solid 5ppg better than Deuce this year, and Terry Glenn hasn't even practiced yet, no telling when he'll be ready.
Now... if you could get Holt... hmmmm...
I'd stand pat - I'd rather have Gore/Henry than Gore/Deuce. And while you don't have a top flight WR, they're plenty good.

this is a joke right? don't do that trade. it's not about last year, it's about what they are projected to do this year.

Yeah I'd stand pat.
Houshmandzadeh is gonna put up monster numbers.
Vincent Jackson is Rivers's number 1 guy.
Heinz Ward is still a stud.
Colston also is a solid to good Wideout under that great New Orleans offense.
I'd stand pat, Gore and Henry are gonna have good years if healthy.
