Does anyone have this TV/Internet service? I know it's pretty new so I haven't heard much. I'm thinking of trying it.

Have you done a search on this site?

Some people have chimed in before.

I have it. It's great! Now.... that they've fixed all the bugs. Great packaging... great picture, I get all of the premium channels for what I was paying Time Warner for basic.

That's what I've heard. It won't be available in my area until December, AT&T told me. Just in time to jump off the neverending-rising-price-ship of Time Warner.

"Not available in your area". Still.

Ditto. I have had it for a few months and the picture
quality is great. The support is even greater. You do
get action when you call and no problem on sending
someone out to fix a problem. And no more "it's your
TV" crap. Which T-W was great in saying.

Only gripe I have, and someone may have an answer
for this, is finding out what is on all those channels
they have. I know, I know, you have a on line guide but I
don't like sitting and going channel by channel to see
what is on. I have even contacted the E-N and ask
them to put it in the TV guide, their response: not
enough people have it. I also contacted ATT and
ask them to at least put it on-line....didn't happen.
They do publish a mag every month, but it doesn't
give any info on day to day scheduling.

But that is my only big gripe about it.

Thanks for the input!! I am being tempted by the price (looks like I can get maxumum TV and hi-speed internet for less than I pay Time-Warner). AT&T was recently doing the Dish thing, one of my friends tried it and hates it, but has a 12 month commitment. The only thing that makes me think twice is how f*cking ridiculous it is to decipher a freaking 10 page AT&T bill!! I HATE that stupid thing :madrun

I've been thinking about jumping ship to U-verse, but I'd like more info.

I'm tired of over paying at TW.
(Plus, U-verse has the NFL Network)

i don't know if it works that way - i have 4 different FSN channels, pacific, central, SW, etc. - only FSSW shows NBA games, and those are spurs games. i don't think it works the same way satellite does. U-verse sounds interesting, but if they are monitoring file sharing like exstatic said they were going to, they can go to hell.

Whoa! Do you happen to have the link to the thread where he said this? What's that all about?

PakiDan, what were the bugs you experienced?
