So I went to church this morning for like the first time since I was baptized, and I sat there and the things that they said made me kind of mad they talked about we all have to live by family morals and not have an open mind to any radical ideas.

So, I went to church this morning and left uplifted and encouraged and ready for a great week.
Next time, come with me to my church. :) Open invitation to all.

Of course they did. It's a church ya nimrod. Don't go if you don't want to hear about morals. That's like going to a strip club when you don't like girls showing their tits.

Who says that morals can only be taught by the Church? And, who determines what morals are? Also, just what are family morals?

Only been to church 3 times in my life, and I'd probably feel the same way as you if I did go. I'd like to go but I doubt I'd find any I'd feel comfortable at.
I generally keep my religion restricted to praying, keeping the commandments as best I can, and being as much of a fine upstanding patient individual I can manage.

I slept through church today.
But I did start reading a book. Which is all interconnected...somehow....

Unlike your priest, I am quite capable of doing that.
Plus, only my friends call me pig.

Yeah, the whole priests molesting little boys thing has me seriously doubting if God is speaking through them.
Yea, that whole 1/10th of 1% really speaks for the whole system.

2 Corinthians. 9:7-Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
I wish more people would understand that. There's more to the church then that. Fellowship, a place to call home, someone to talk to, people who share your ideals, etc. It just takes some hunting to find the right place.

Organized Religion = Man Made Tenets < Godly Wisdom.
Cut out the middle men. Save yourself the trouble of being guilted to death, hounded for money, taught false teachings and controlled. Go straight to the source, God, for pure and true knowledge, direction and guidance.
Beware of the false teachers.....wolves in sheeps clothing!!!
