Wade injuries ankle

MIAMI (AP) -- The Miami Heat lost leading scorer Dwyane Wade with an ankle injury in the first half of Monday night's game against the Washington Wizards.
He was not expected to return.
Wade, who failed to score in 18 minutes, sustained a mild sprain of the left ankle while grabbing a loose ball late with 3:18 left in the half.

A Heat spokesperson said Wade's second-half absence was ``more precautionary than anything else.''
Wade, 0-of-4 before leaving, entered the game averaging 23.8 points. He missed two games earlier this season with a sprain of the same ankle.
He had three rebounds, three assists and two steals before he was injured.
