Or at least have a winning record? Trent Green is going to put 20 a game at least on the board, and Miami improved it's already #1 defense. It's logical that they could.
Man... seeing Miami struggle in recent years is so weird. Used to them being good all the time like, the last 30 years or so was hahaha.

I don't think Maimi will get to the PO's this year.
With some improvement on offense, they could do it next year.

I really hope Trent can get it going and run the offense well. The only thing I worry about on D is our weak secondary. But with some pressure from the D-line and linebackers hopefully QB's will make some bad decisions. I think we have a chance if the offensive line protects Trent well.

Miami can only make the playoffs as a wild card because I don't think there's any doubting the Pats will take the AFC East. And the rest of the AFC is so stacked that the wild cards are going to come down to weeks 16 and 17 like last year. There are so many teams in the AFC that could seriously make the playoffs, but maybe Miami's D could save them from losing a couple games and get them into that 5th or 6th seed.

A little quote from L.T. on Cameron from the Union Tribune.
"It turns out his outburst regarding Patriots coach Bill Belichick after the Chargers' playoff loss might have been more accurately directed at his own offensive coordinator.
Tomlinson said recently “it would be fair” to say he was extremely angry about getting just five carries in the fourth quarter and nine in the second half against the Patriots.
“At times, Cam (Cameron) got it in his mind what we did well,” Tomlinson said of the former Chargers offensive coordinator, now the Miami Dolphins' head coach. “(It was Antonio) Gates does this well. This is what he's going to do, no matter what. LT does this well. This is what we're going to do no matter if people (stopped it). That's what Cam believed, even if it wasn't true.
“Norv (Turner) is more, 'These guys do a lot of things well, and they can do it well if we do it enough, if we teach them enough.' . . . Not only that, at some point Norv can say, 'This is what we're doing, and this is how we're going to adjust to it (if a team is stopping it). I didn't get the sense from Cam that was the case. We just kept doing what we did.”
Interesting.............

That's the same thing as "Bill Parcells makes me run like a robot" bullshit that was flying around out here for a few months. People bitch about coaches when they first leave and praise the new guy who hasn't done a damn thing yet. I like LT, but he should seriously learn to keep his mouth shut.

Meh, I bitched about the stupid shit my bosses did, too. There weren't people sitting around waiting to write it in the newspaper, though.
Back to topic, I like Trent Green, but he may be one of the unluckiest guys in the NFL. If there's something unforseen that can happen to the Dolphins, it's gonna happen on his watch.

norv is one of the best offensive coordinators in the game..... the only thing i don't like about him is that he likes to run it on 3rd and long situations. for example, 3rd and 20... i never understood why.....

Well thats not working out to well.
Maybe the Patriots will still be undefeated and we could be a spoiler to their perfect season.....
Maybe not.
