Whats up with Charger fans not supporting the Chargers? It seemed like the Bears were the home team.

Bears have one of the biggest fanbases in the league. I know a couple Bears fans here in Texas. Not really a surprise that a lot of them showed up to the SD game because it was the first game of the year, and against a good team.
Anyway, Bears D did a good job this game. Too bad their offense and special teams didn't.

I understand the Bears travel well, but SD fans I figured would of snapped up most of the tickets. To me it there were more Bears fans there that I would of figured. Not a big deal, just I know that no way in Denver would the Bears fan had such a following in the crowd.

Like Merriman is any better, if you're referring to substance violations.

Whats up with Charger fans not supporting the Chargers? It seemed like the Bears were the home team.Sorry, but you can't judge by watching television alone. My brother and friends were all at the game, and from listening to him, it was Charger fans representing. If you watched the game on FOX, as I did, they kept panning to the same group of Bears fans. Of course FOX wants to support the NFC, and they broadcast to do so.

We cought a lot of breaks today but so did the Bears with that offsides no call that gave them the ball. Lot of Bears continuing to call for Grossmans head but that interception before halftime was on that #80 reciever 100%. Stopping on his route. What a lazy ass. Also the two running back fumbles hurt more then Grossman did.
Norvs incessant going to LT in the 1st half was annoying. He finally diversified in the 2nd half. I was calling for the LT pass, knew it would work.
Michael Turner rocks. Norv you need to get him and LT in at the same time on a fair amount of plays. Also get MTurner in earlier, not just late 4th.
Freaking Bears D line anticipation of snap counts is awesome, even with the one goaline offsides. Did they steal some signs from PRivers? They get off the ball pronto.

Chargers will be lucky to even hang with the 2008 superbowl champion New England Patriots next week. God the Pats are fucking amazing. Moss is back as the best wideout in the league. This offense is literally unstoppable and their defense is easily among the best in the league. Best of luck to any team who can even make this team sweat.

I think the Pats have more bandwagon fans than the Yankees. You can go anywhere and find Yankees fans. Starting to be the same with Patriots. The roommate they paired me with my freshman year was a Pats fan from Round Rock. WTF?
The Pats are so going to get owned in Week 9 when they play the Colts again. They haven't beaten the Colts in two and a half years. There's nothing Belichick can do to put pressure on Manning now. Nothing.
The Chargers got after the quarterback pretty good today and overall their defense was outstanding so I'm not expecting Moss to cash in as much as he did today. The Jets are a bottom 10 defense. The Chargers are a top 10 (top 5 against most teams). Use your head a little.

They probably had that section mic'd too so the guys in the booth didn't look stupid when they said that.

true, but you could easily say the same thing about the Colts. I know a shitload of "lifelong" Colts fans. With the huge fanbase the NFL has, they also have the most bandwagoners. Remember all the Bengals fans 2 years ago? They're all Chargers fans now.
