The power button comes on for a second and then beeps and goes off, so I assume the box is dead and needs to be replaced.

( Why it had to die when I was in the middle of working on a paper, I will never know. Luckily I had most of it saved.)

But I digress.

This surge protector was my mom's. I have never bought one. How much are they and where is the best place to get one?

=I will place the Surge protector in a orange and white striped paper bag from Watt a burger. I will place the bag by the main gate you don't have to even turn off your car. just call me 98 seconds before you reach the main gate.To be honest the surge protectors are over rated. Unless a bolt of lightning actually hits your house?
I really don't see how your PC, and any other electrical appliance you have (made after 1987) would not have a built in system like a fuse or resistor to absorb any electrical surge.not to mention your circuit breaker box=

Maybe so, but my mom is a firm believer in them and passed on the conviction to me.
I don't know a lot about the mechanics of computers, but use mine for a great deal so am very cautious about it.

I really appreciate you giving me the surge protector. I finish work at 4:15 and it will take awhile to get to your side of town.

After reading this topic the only protection AgelLuv needs is from mouse. make sure he is not hiding in the bushes next the the orange and white stripped bag.

If your light is blinking it is the bulb it does not mean the surge protector will not function. Do you want a different model?

I was in apartment 1104 when you came by. BTW who was the babe you came with? the maintenance men are still buzzing from your visit. It's not often we get two attractive women in our area in one day.

Thanks for the cord. It was half of what I needed. I also went ahead and bought a batter back up system- to protect my computer from getting fried in a power outage.

Sorry I missed seeing you. Has been a long time.
