No, this was $3.99 Zinfandel and $5.99 Merlot, there's a reason is tasted like bitter insanity. $3.89 Andre champagne is way better than that shit, which is sad.

If you want a good and inexpensive Merlot, try Little Penguin ($6.99 or so a bottle).

Their Shiraz is real tasty as well.

Yeah, I wasn't expecting anything from the Electric Reindeer junk, we just got it because it was Christmasy and alcoholic. But I am a big fan of a good red, so I'll have to check the Little Penguin out. I've also heard the Coppola Merlot isn't bad either.
