I've said it before, but I'm going to say it again - the Big 12 TV contract flat out sucks (and no, I'm not saying this because the KSU-Missouri State game is not televised tomorrow).
We need to get rid of the ridiculous exclusive rights windows that the networks have negotiated with us. Texas, OU, and UNL like it because they are going to be on TV anyways - so they the extra revenue that comes from an exclusive rights window is preferable (in addition, it keeps the money at the top helping to maintain the powers that be in this conference), but it's without a doubt harmful to the conference as a whole.
We are going to call ourselves a major conference when every Big 10 conference game, virtually every SEC conference game, and the vast majority of the ACC conference games are going to be televised - but less than 50% of the Big 12 conference games will be on TV this year? That's ridiculous and should be obvious to any fan of this conference.
