i don't give a fuck about these awards but am glad to read that the sopranos went out on a high note. they deserved it.

The Wire didn't get any nominations so I decided not to watch an awards show with zero credibility.

Wow a mention of being in Los Angeles and having an HDTV in less than 10 posts. That has to be a record, T Park. :tu

Do you mean Joan Rivers? I have no idea why Joan Collins would be there, unless there is a Dynasty reunion or something.

No nominations for The Wire.

No acting nominations for Friday Night Lights.

An acting nomination for Kevin Dillon.

I'd sooner watch the VMA's.

He was nominated, but lost to Jeremy Piven.

Jeremy Pivin as "Ari" is incredible. Great character.

Ari is my favorite character on TV right now.

I was flipping back and forth between it, Sunday Night Football (my opponent in an FF league had the Pats D), and the Sox/Yanks game. The only parts I really caught were the ones that I've seen shown a hundred times since then, namely Sally Fields getting censored and Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, and Steve Carell's group hug (which I have laughed at every time I've seen it.)

The internet has really killed any point in watching these sorts of things. You can catch the highlights from a dozen websites the morning after so why bother watching the whole thing?

Sad about FNL. I love that show. But at least I got to see Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler).. that was a highlight. :spin

Was fortunate enough to catch 5 minutes of the post show on E!

If you thought Maria Menounous was hot, just wait till you see her equipped with a fresh new giant swollen pregnant belly.

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

Nice.
