This is one of those few times where the death penalty doesn't seem like cruel and unusual punishment

That's an extremely disturbing story. It's particularly maddening that the guys who were inside the house are apparently unwilling to tell police what they know, even though one of those guys tried to find help for the baby.

I can't remember if California has re-instated the death penalty, and I'm not generally a death penalty advocate, but there are just some acts that are so heinous that a state-administered death seems almost like the easy way out.

It's a sick world sometimes. When the life of a 7 month old baby is that insignificant to someone, there's something majorly wrong.

And even if they don't have the death penalty- the criminals in prison will get them. Even criminals have some kind of code.

Unbelievable.
Just Unbelievable.

You know what they say: "Snitches live in ditches."

I fucking hate that mentality, but a lot of people live by that.

They do.

The problem is if they get these guys in prison they will probably be put in isolation to protect them from the general population. Like Scott Peterson and Charles Manson were.

I would rather see them in gen pop. Let them deal with it.
