I need to order new RX eyeglasses. Where have you found the best deals with a large selection. Also if you have ever ordered over the internet, how was your experience? Did you just order the frames and take them somewhere locally to get the lenses made or did you order the lenses online too? I need to buy 2 pair so although I want nice stylish frames, I also need to find a good deal.

I got mine at LensCrafters, because I get about a 50% discount from Humana ... since we don't have vision insurance that covers a pair every year or whatever, that was my best deal.

I was covered by the military up until I finished college so I really didn't have to worry about costs. Since I've been cut loose, I've been on Humana and haven't had my eyes checked because my one year hasn't come up yet. I did buy frames from EyeMasters when they had the 50% off deal, though, and they have a decent selection of designer eyewear.

i don't have vision insurance, but got some discount through insurance also. Being too lazy to shop around, I just got them through Today's Vision where I get my contacts.

Have you tried Costco?

I recently bought a pair at Wal-Mart, as cheap as that may sound, and I'm pretty satisfied. Before that, I bought a pair at Eyemasters and was also pretty satisfied.

They both have good deals, but Eyemasters has the larger selection.

My sister, though, buys her stuff online (lens & frames) and she swears by it. She says she always gets a good deal.

Actually I ended up going to Blanco Eyewear. It's where we bought my daughter's last pair. They have a great selection. This is one pair I bought...

I'll have to look at the receipt tomorrow to figure out which was the name and style of the other pair.

How would smoking weed improve my eyesight? I don't have glaucoma. I thought that was the only eye condition improved by weed.
