I just got a new hard drive base camcorder and want to edit some videos, I would like to cut clips out, but I have no video editing programs. What is a easy and free program to edit out clips from a whole video?

I tried VirtualDub and it did it, but skips very bad.

Windows Movie Maker

Avid Free DV

Adobe Premiere Free Trial

Try all the editing software, because most have free trials. Final Cut Pro, also.

I would just suggest using Windows Movie Maker. It's free and you have unlimited use, unlike the free-trial versions of other software. Plus, it's really easy to use.

dude what camera did you get and how do you like it? I am in the process of buying an HD camcorder but just trying to figure out the best bang for my buck under a G. I like the canon vixias but not sure yet.

Did you ever find a good video editing prog? I use pinnacle studio 12 and am trying to mess with sony studio vegas 9 right now but pinnacle 12 makes it really easy for noobs. check it if you havent

Premiere works on a PC - Final Cut does not.
