I disagree with that. IMO, that is exactly how you judge a QB. You see how he reacts to what they give him, how he adjusts, etc.

Smith is not there yet.

even though it probably wouldn't have made a huge difference we were robbed on that first down to vernon davis.... he caught it, got 2 feet down, a shoulder and an elbow before the ball popped out.... it was a key play in the game and could have shifted the momentum....
