Every season someone comes back with a little better stroke thanks to Chip. Supposedly the Spurs have been working extra hard...I wonder who will be this year?

I really think addition of this coach has had a greater impact than any upper tier FA they missed on.

Bonner. He needs to learn how to shoot like a male.

God I hope it's Duncan's free throws. :lol

Do all Spurs work equally with Engelland? I had thought that certain players (like Parker) worked with him more, and learn to totally rebuild their shot technique. Bonner already has a nice shot, and he could have a breakthrough year if he stays healthy and gets minutes as Duncan's backup.

I think that Engelland has mainly worked with Marcus Williams and Duncan this summer.

I hope so. I'd like to see Marcus Williams become this season's version of the "young, future SF" in waiting.

God knows he needs the work. Williams that is.

I don't think Williams will even make the cut next month. I'd like to see Bruce develope a little "stop and pop" from 15'. That would greatly improve his game.

he had that last year... he'd fake the 3, drive a bit and pull up from the elbow.

id like to see duncan incorporate the fading skyhook frm 3 pnt land myself.

I wonder if Chip still with the Spurs(I asked once :oops ).

well I am happy for Chip, he's a member of our country's team who defeated the U.S. in the 1985 Jones Cup championship we are proud he helped S.A. in some way.

I think Oberto's once 42% FT has improved.

I think that Jacque Vaughn could definitely benefit from some Engelland tutoring.. no 3-point stuff, just mid-range jumpers will be fine.

Vaughn has worked with Engelland during the whole season last year. One can think that he has continued to work with him this summer.

Bruce and TD should be shooting FTs 5 hrs a day this Summer.

i hope that chip would work on jacque's shooting more this year. it would certainly add to the second team's depth of play. while we're wishing, i'd like to wish that chip work with bonner a bit more. sure, he can shoot, but his shot sure looks ugly.

the FO really did good signing him.

now if only we could sign a big man coach for the rest of the front court. if duncan retired from playing, would he be a good coach for big men?

And subsequently miss the shot. Remember, it only counts if the ball goes in the hoop. So, I guess we should rephrase the demand to read "Chip should work with Bowen on MAKING the stop-n-pop".... instead of just knowing how to shoot it.
