... slow down when using a WIFI router? For some reason since I began using the router my connection speed seems to be almost half of what it used to be. I used to download files at 300 kps and now I get 150, 180 if I'm lucky. Is this something that usually happens? or can I call and verbally abuse the poor tech support guy??

I just did a speed test and this is what I got(and I'm on a wireless router).
Download Speed: 6838 kbps (854.8KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 492 kbps (61.5 KB/sec transfer rate)

Is that good or bad?^^^

Using encryption over wireless doubles the overhead. Meaning: you can expect slower speeds on your WiFi.
