I was driving home today, and saw some flashing light. Curious like so many are, I drove towards the incident. This is what I found:

It appears a drunk driver made a left turn off of Division St. to 162nd Ave. way too fast. Went up on the curve, ran over a fire hydrant which place a nice crease into the front of the car. This allowed the car to climb right up the guy wire supporting the utility pole. When they were removing the car, the fire hydrant was still in the grill, and fell to the ground. Good thin it didn't fall when they were strapping the car!

I took over 40 shots with my camera phone, most came out pretty good for a phone. The originals are 1280 x 1024. Glad I have a 2GB memory card in the phone. Never thought I'd use it, but this was different.

I just realized that the poor quality of that shot might make people think it was an edited photo, so here's two more of better quality where my camera phone didn't make the shot look funky with the outline around the white car:

I've actually seen two accidents before where people apparently drove up the wire. The fire hydrant is a nice touch, though.

Samsung T629. The T I think is for T-Mobile.

The 2GB card is cool. The photo's are easily transferred to the computer by either a bluetooth USB adapter, or a micro SD card adapter.
