It's really hard to put a tag on how advantageous it is to have the same guys back together. It has to really make it easier for the Spurs. Knowing each others strengths and weaknesses from day one really helps the team to gel.

Duncan said pretty much the same thing. That it was a "little good."
Guys that have "been through the wars."
He also said adding "a new wrinkle" was good too.

I think they all sounded pretty good about trying to defend the Title.
They know how hard it is. This is the first season they have the same team back to try.

Once again, the Spurs can boast the best chemistry of any team in the league - and unfortunately, the league's oldest roster.

Makes me wonder just how long the Spurs can continue playing with "old" house money before reaching that threshold of diminishing returns (injury, lack of production, etc.).

We are probably the most experienced team in the league ... :spin
and also the oldest :oops

They don't "SOUND" like they even give a damn about repeating.

I know they aren't the type that want to talk about it but god damn, show some hunger.

Repeating would solidify their run and make them a true dynasty.

I'm pretty sure the spurs have it in the back of thier minds to repeat. I have this feeling it will def happen this season... if not just get ready for the 09 celebration.

I'm surprised there hasn't been a poster calling himself/herself "Washington Times Dynasty" and proclaiming every other newspaper in the free world to be a fluke.
