Jeff McDonald: Greetings from Camp Status Quo
The third practice at Camp Status Quo is in the books. As of yet, there have been no reports of anyone gouging their eyes out in a fit of boredom.

That can happen, you know, when you have a roster full of 30-something players each of whom are going through their umpteenth training camp. Or, at least so says Gregg Popovich.

Take, for instance, Robert Horry, who is in the midst of his 16th NBA camp.

"It would be easy to bore him to death," Popovich said.

To combat that tedium, Popovich says he will incorporate some newer, fresher drills into this year's installment of training camp.

"We try to do the things we can to add some freshness to it," Popovich said.

Of course, some would say Horry does a pretty good job of entertaining himself. Near the end of this morning's workout, Horry twice flopped to the floor in an attempt to draw a charge from Tim Duncan during one-on-one drills. He popped up laughing both times.

I love this stuff!
As hard as they must work, it must be nice to be with a team that knows each other so well and can have some fun with it.

Second that. Spurs are wise to keep attitude problems of their team.

I thought McDonald was going to report that Horry body-checked a teammate into the scorers table again. :lol
