Video (http://boss.streamos.com/wmedia/nba/teams/spurs/tc_071003.asx) of interviews after Wednesday's practice.

Gotta say that while Marcus Williams might suck, his attitude seems good.

Yup, I was impressed by Marcus's attitude too. :tu The kid may just develop into a player - give him time.

Manu was talking about his braces, and it made me think - how many of our guys wear mouthguards? If he takes those braces into the season you just know people are gonna try and hit him in the mouth...

It's not that Manu gets hit by a lot of players...they're just in his way.

Thanks for the videos. I had seen Manu at La Cantera not too long ago and did not notice the braces.

Holy Cow!!! Marcus Williams is listed at 6'7" but his neck should account for about 3 inches

Same here. He's only a 2 year college player. Let's see how he develops over the next year or so before we label him a draft bust and throw him out. He may surprise us all.

Agree. With Chip working on his shot, or maybe totally rebuilding it, who knows what is possible with this kid? He is long, and has good footwork on defense.

Q. What do you think about the Spurs retiring Avery Johnson's jersey?

A. It's retarded.

Yup, that's why he's here, and Chip is a genius shooting doctor as well as a bloody great guy (I had a long chat to him when I went to practice).

Good things could come of this, we'll know more in a season... ;)
