Is Mahinmi at the Spurs' camp? There has been absolutely squat news about him that I'm aware. No interviews, nomention by Pop no mention by Monroe, Harvey or the new Spurs' mouthpiece. Does he actually exist?

Pop mentioned him and sounded rather impressed by what he's seen so far. Pop was asked whether the plan is to send Mahinmi to Austin and Pop said that at this point, they don't want to limit Mahinmi by pigeonholing him before the season starts.

I heard a pigeon holing kind of statement about Williams which I interpreted to mean Spurs, D league or cut. Did Pop say not pigeon holing about Mahinimi?

If Mahinmi showed Pop enough to consider keeping on the Spurs or moving back and forth between the Spurs and the D that would be most encouraging.

Spurs have 4 b2b before the start of the DLeague season.
If Pop do like last year, Horry won't play the second game of a b2b.
If Mahinmi plays well enough during the training camp, Pop could put Horry on the IL for these 4 games and give some playtime (at least the garbage time) to Mahinmi.

If this kid shows enough to even get a few minutes here and there with the Spurs this season that would be a damn good sign for the future. I haven't seen a recent pic of him, is he getting more bulk?
