View Full Version : If Democrats Had Any Brains

Ann Coulter has a new book out titled If Democrats Had Any Brains, They’d Be Republicans (http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?r=1&ean=9780307353450). She is jealous of the attention Rush is getting. She wants some criticism about her new book!

You Tube link:

Ann Coulter If dem had brains Part 1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LmztRFiH_g)

Ann Coulter If dems had brains Part 2 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mX8c1ELHnmI)

She first mentions it just less than 30 seconds into the first clip. I couldn’t find the interview I wanted. I saw another one, I think on MSNBC, where she more clearly talks about her getting left out by the media, Kind of funny.

I don’t have this book yet, but it is the next one I will buy.

she's becoming more marginalized everytime she opens her mouth or writes a book. she's only taken seriously by the resident kool aid types, wc, xray, yoni, am i missing some? she is fast becoming one of the demorcats best fundraisers. one thing i would enjoy seeing is commercials of her making an ass of herself, (sorry, for the kool aid crowd, "being dead on about democrats)and then asking the question, " Are mainstream Republicans what America wants?"

If anyone ever wants to endure the same dry heaving I experience I did try her and her ilk's websites. They all recomend eachother's books.. hush, whannity, levin all endorse her books.. hilarious.. :lol

This is Ann at her best, covering every topic from A to Z. Here you’ll read Coulter’s take on:
• Her politics: “As far as I’m concerned, I’m a middle-of-the-road moderate and the rest of you are crazy.”
• Hillary Clinton: “Hillary wants to be the first woman president, which would also make her the first woman in a Clinton administration to sit behind the desk in the Oval Office instead of under it.”
• The environment: “God gave us the earth. We have dominionover the plants, the animals, the trees. God said, ‘Earth is yours. Take it. Rape it. It’s yours.’”
• Religion: “It’s become increasingly difficult to distinguish the pronouncements of the Episcopal Church from the latest Madonna video.”
• Global warming: “The temperature of the planet has increased about one degree Fahrenheit in the last century. So imagine a summer afternoon when it’s 63 degrees and the next thing you know it’s . . . 64 degrees. Ahhhh!!!! Run for your lives, everybody! Women and children first!”
• Gun control: “Mass murderers apparently can’t read, since they are constantly shooting up ‘gun-free zones.’”
• Bill Clinton: “Bill Clinton’s library is the first one to ever feature an Adults Only section.”
• Illegal aliens: “I am the illegal alien of commentary. I will do the jokes that no one else will do.”

reason #876 that foxnews can't successfully pull off a Daily Show-esque program

socialism is just another totally bogus straw-man, a checklist word devoid of any meaning for the USA, a hot button that right-wingers hit to avoid serious discussion and to rouse the ever-ready rabble.

Ann Coulter gats pretty intense with her jokes about democrats and liberals. I find it amazing how people can criticize her about the facts she states. This is what I would like to see, is for someone to prove she is wrong about the things she writes about! She probably has less mistakes in a year when it comes to facts than any liberal in a day!

Actually WC, they have a hard time justifying much of
anything they say and disproving anything that Coulter
says or any other conservative.

Coulter goes to the colleges and universities and puts
it on the line. And the dimm-o-craps have only one
defense, screaming, hollering, and demonstrating.

I dunno man. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the genius program Hillary hopes to implement next week.

I'd have no problem voting for a woman. No problem voting for a black person. No problem voting for a democrat, depending on the cirumstances. But some of the stuff she talks about really scares me.

Yes, dimm-o-crap is solidly about message and not the person.

Interesting argument strategy, too -- refuse to answer a question and then ask someone to disprove something that you never bothered to prove.

Et tu, xray?

When you refer to Dimm-o-craps, aren't you attacking the person as well? You seem to indicate in the above-quoted language that attacking the person is somehow unseemly in discussing politics; but why is it okay for you to attack the person and not for those who have a different view than yours?

I point out the idiocy of the dimm-o-crap philosophy.
So I suppose you are correct in the sense that if you
want to discuss the point of view where they are wrong
then I have attacked the person. I, seldom, attack a person
on the personal level. I do sometime proffer some
remarks about their reasoning capability. But
sexual orientation or preference is not my style.

Gotcha.

I do sometime proffer some remarks about their reasoning capability. But sexual orientation or preference is not my style.

I'm not saying that only comments or allusions concerning a person's sexual orientation are personal attack. I'm saying that deliberately and repeatedly calling people names -- the thing that you've objected to about Coulter -- is the very sort of personal attack that you called out ChumpDumper for undertaking. Hypocritical much?

Forget Coulter, if you would like to look at the science here, instead of just going along with the leftist crowd, get a copy of Dr. John Lott's book "Freedomnomics." There's a chapter there on voting ... it will open your eyes. The problem is, these are statistically tested facts! Before the 19th amendment was passed, which states:

The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.

Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

Several states passed legislation allowing women to vote before this. One by one, in order, historical documents show that social spending increased in line with the law allowing women to vote. Women are more emotional than men. That is why as more women started voting, social spending increased.
