This info comes from SpursReport board initially as a non-link post and thus, categorized as rumor.

I checked it out and it looks like the Spurs have another camp guard. Perhaps Beno will need additional healing time.

Naiditch has a few players he represents. He's listed at Eurobasket.

I always thought they'd bring a third "real" point guard at least to camp.

Perry is a tough mofo who can drain his midrange jumpers. He was good at RMR.

Perry turned out to be pretty good after initally sucking major ass in SL.

He'll latch on somewhere in the show this season if not SA.

Yeah he was horrible at SPL except the last game. I was pleasantly surprised at RMR.

Marque Perry, who played on both Spurs summer league teams, will be in Spurs training camp which begins October 5.

Perry, a 6-foot-1 point guard who played collegiately at St. Louis, spent last season with the Roanoke Dazzle in the NBDL where he led the team with 15.4 points and 6.7 assists (third in the league) per contest.

At the Rocky Mountain Revue, Perry tallied 7.8 points and 4.4 assists per game while sharing minutes with Spurs' draft pick Beno Udrih.

"Marque is excited about training camp," Perry's agent Mike Naiditch told SpursZONE.com. "This is a step in the right direction for Marque, having performed well this summer. He could have decided to sign with another team, but chose not to wait, knowing that the San Antonio was his favorite all along.

"The Spurs have been great to Marque throughout the process."

I have to wonder if Noel Felix would've gotten a call in time....

He might have gotten an invite. But he's happy where he is. He has a very positive attitude about it and is going to work his ass off this season.

He started a Bible Study with one of his teammates and is very happy with the team and coaching staff. And they are in training camp right now. His games start Oct 3rd I believe.
