Uh why? Because the original poster linked to a forum post instead of the original image?

Yeah, no one ever comes in here under false pretenses to pimp their embryonic forums.

BTW, thanks, ZStomp.

Bad poster. Duncan as a genie brings back bad memories of Duncan almost signing with the Magic.

I think its playing off of his little used nickname "Merlin"

I think it's nice to see him in a print ad.
Maybe adidas figured they could use the most decorated active player to sell some shoes.

Pretty cool poster, but it doesn't fit Duncan's image.

SMH. Always in denial...............you must have a billion reasons to cover your ass. LMAO How can a forum post indicate an advertisement to sign up for another board? You assumed wrong, now if that link's URL read to the register page then you have something.

I think its playing off of his little used nickname "Merlin"I could see that. I just remember all those lame Magic fans who posted pictures of Duncan as every little Walt Disney fairy they could think of as a way to entice Duncan to Orlando.

I see where you are coming from timvp...IMO I don' think TD was ever really close to really signing with the Magic..almost all FA's HAVE to take a trip to another team, just to get everything they can from their current team..Manu went to Denver, but I dont think he would have ever signed there. I could be wrong, but it is nice to see TD in print ads..& it is a pretty orignial poster.

That poster is sooo boring. If it were Amare, it would have a much higher popularity rate :)

I believe it's based off inventory...

See, with Duncan you know exactly what you're going to get. No surprise factor is involved. With Amare as a genie, who the eff knows? He's so exciting, err... volitile, err... erratic... OK, I'll just go with exciting... that fans would much rather see his surprise factor in play than Duncan's same ol' same ol' which is why the popularity rating prove that Duncan is BO-RING!

Now, if Eva were in the poster along with Duncan, then the NBA would market the poster more, and more and more would fly of the shelves, then justifying the NBA's agenda to make Duncan's poster top seller.
