I've heard the sermon and it's directed more at "Christians" than it is the non-christain. It suggest that most "Christians" aren't really Christians at all.
The second link, well... I've never been a fan of that approach, but I think I understand what the test is trying to say. 100% of us have violated God's Moral law at one time or another. As in any court of law, there must be a penalty for breaking a law. Time or being really sorry doesn't get you off the hook, just like any court of law.
A Christian believes that Jesus paid the penalty for us.
Nothing more and nothing less.
God Bless. BTW, I think the video link in my signature is a pretty cool way of conveying the message.
2centsworth, do you drink booze/liquor.

Yes, the sermon is directed to people witnessing a water down gospel and people who take the name of Christian but they do not really understand the gospel of Christ, this wasnt directed to atheists or anything lol...the quiz is like you said, shows that no one can par up to God's standard and since we see that we sin and fall short of the glory of God we need a savior. Really guys, if yall have any interest in religon or take the name Christian, check the link out.
Also Paul said to the Romans in romans 7:7 that he wouldnt know what sin was if it wasnt for the law. ( 10 commandments)

AH! Well how do you know when you've crossed the "drunk" line? Will God to a BAC test on you?

i'm just saying, because how do you know if you are sinning/breaking the law without someway to accurately guage your blood alcohol content? Where is RuffnReadyOzStyle and his trusty pocket BAC calculator when you need him.

I don't remember a BAC threshold being called out in Scripture.

Ecclesiastes 9:7
Go your way, eat your bread with joy, and drink your wine with a cheerful heart [if you are righteous, wise, and in the hands of God], for God has already accepted your works.
It says somewhere in Psalms, I think, that you can drink the wine, but don't become drunk with the wine. :toast

Who gives a rats ass? Newsflash: There is no such thing as hell.
And if there is a God, he is the laziest bastard in the Universe. Must still be resting from all the Creation he did, according to the Book.

you must be really smart to know there's no God. Maybe you're God.
