According to the most recent game's box score, which player do you think deserves more minutes? I think that Marcus Williams and Lever-Pedroza did pretty well within their minutes. (they both had 12 minutes) We need to get something out of Mahinmi, but he was pretty good for his 10 minutes (4 points with 2 for 2 shooting, 3 rebounds)I think we need a center who gets around 10 points, and 7 rebounds or so.

Lever-Pedroza didn't do anything at all, and kinda sucked (I know he hit 3 shots - but he didn't look good). Marcus Williams was okay, I guess but not good. Mahinmi was actually the best of them in limited minutes. He had at least 2 clean blocks (I know they didn't credit him both in the box score).

They have a center that gets 10 and 7 - it's Elson/Oberto.

I want to see Marcus' Williams potential with the Spurs though. This guy could be a consistent scorer off the bench, and not a bad defender.

And Mahinmi, IMO, needs to bulk up before he can play center.

Right now his defense is the only thing hes got going for him (and his rebounding). He has virtually no offensive game to speak of. It's so nasty at this point that the term "consistent scorer" seems a mighty stretch...even down the road.

I agree with Kori on Perdoza. Although I haven't seen him play on some of the play-by-play's he's making some careless/amatuerish mistakes/TO's. Hinting at some possible timidiness or fright to play on an NBA team maybe?

Since Duncan plays so much center and the rest of the time is split between two guys depending on matchups, it's kind of silly to declare the stat numbers we "need" from anyone playing center on this team. Look at the game a different way.

Mahinmi has to be in Austin. This kid desperately needs to be playing, not sitting on a bench.

He's going to have to be on the Spurs roster to be in Austin.

The only new Spur spending any significant time in San Antonio this year is Udoka.

Mahimini and Williams (until the Spurs just get tired of his shit) will be spending their time in Austin.

Mahimini needs playing time and he will get plenty of it in Austin.

Too skinny to be a center. He's a power forward.
