I know that they are in the WAC and all that, but why is it that Hawai'i is ranked below a good amount of 1 loss teams?

Having to go to overtime to beat the Louisiana Tech and San Jose State's of the world does that.

Arizona State is creeping up the list.

USF should be ranked #1. They've been more impressive than BC or OSU.

The Bulls are really tough this year. They steam-rolled a UCF squad that almost upset Texas a few weeks back. Their defense has been top-notch the last few years, and now they have a decent offense to go with it. Barring a mild upset @Riutgers this weekend or @UConn next weekend, they may well go undefeated. Cincinnatti and/or Louisville may present a challenge as well, but since they are playing at home those two games, they should win. I think their biggest game was vs. WVU a few weeks back.

It'll be interesting to see, though, if their schedule helps them or hurts them for a shot at the BCS championship. WVU could be the only top-15 team they beat this season.

Ohio State will not end up number 1 at the end of the year. Their schedule has been pathetic up untill now.

Well, OSU won't play anyone in the top 15 until bowl season rolls around.

Preseason rankings are the only thing holding USF back.

They beat Auburn. Auburn beat Florida.
