Thank you all... (atxrocker... I'm still thinking about that remark. Don't forget I have connections...)
As my daughter once said, I'm not changing careers, I'm just adding another one. My wife and most of the people I hang out with are nurses and I've always been interested in medical stuff, so I figure this is one of the best ways to support my preaching habit. (Along with the IT stuff at the other office.)

And no, I don't have too much time on my hands.

Congratulations. Nursing can be a lot of hard work, but certainly the rewards of helping and serving others are there.

Nurse Ratchet is already taken... I'll have to consider my options. I graduate in Dec '08, so I should have my license by Jan '09... just a little over a year to go.
My next class is Mental Health Nursing... I have a wealth of experience to draw upon there.

Congrats!

And don't listen to the others, I think a name shield saying "crazyone" would be cool. If something goes wrong they couldn't say they hadn't been warned :lol

Just remember, if you ever get mouse as a patient, he's probably already taken his pain meds and he doesn't need the rest of them in advance!

Congratulations! And would you mind telling me where you are studying? I've thought about nursing as a new career.
