great on PTI, but i tend to tune out TV announcers for football games anyway. tirico annoys me as much as kornheiser does on MNF.

He's a damn sight better than Dennis Miller or Dan Fouts. Marv Albert and Boomer Esiason were really good on the radio broadcasts. Are they still doing that? I love PTI, despite the fact that Kornheiser isn't the biggest idiot on the show, but ABC and ESPN are really dropping the ball on personnel decisions over the last ten years.

Loved his radio show. Love him on PTI. Don't particularly care one way or the other for any of the announcers on MNF. Jaws is ok, but his enthusiasm annoys me. Tony is too cheeky at times. Tirico is mediocre.

I'd like to hear Marv Albert call the game. I enjoy his broadcasts, so long as Fratello isn't colorman...

PTI is great, I have come to like Around the Horn better because I like Realli (however you spell it) and because PTI never has a full cast it seams. They always have fill ins or remotes (not that I dislike Lebatard)

He is the sole reason MNF is losing ratings at record pace.

He constantly provides his little color comments like they matter, or make sense, or are insightful, he flat out sucks hairy donkey balls and you all know it.

You might as well get Evan fucking Marriott to commentate Monday Night Football, at least all us average Joe's can relate to him.

ABC/ESPN needs to quit trying to create some magical formula of colorful personalities and focus on the football. Give me a generic play-by-play guy and an intelligent analyst and GTFO of the way. I'd rather not even notice who's calling the game.

I never really got the three person booth. It's way harder to pull off because it's just an extra personality to try to work in and will typically fuck up the chemistry.

I actually really liked when Dick Vermeil and Deon Sanders did some games on the NFL Network last year. Definitely a solid booth. Kornheiser is totally out of his element, Tirico is pretty mediocre, and Jaworski is a pompous douchebag who points out the most obvious shit.
