View Full Version : Doncha just LOVE the feeling when you quit a job you can't stand?

i worked there for 3 years as a 1099 contractor and decided yesterday that my contract is up. no notification needed. the owner was a tightass who would not pay us anything and the wannabe owner was a greedy, controlling, moody oompa loompa. it's such a relief to be done with that place. i start a new job on the 29th getting 15k more with paid time off and benefits. i can't wait. life is good :)

Congrats on your new job. I am glad things worked out so well for you.

I have only quit one job and did so without having another job lined up.

The quitting without another job part was a mistake, but I had to get out of that other place.
I remember crying my first lunch break there, thinking of how much I wanted to quit.
That is so not like me.

about time you quit that job. Glad you got out of there and have another job already. Never a good thing sticking around doing something you hate. Hope it goes well.
I'm quitting my job too. Hopefully this is the start of something new and better.
