Parker has quietly become one of the best PGs in the NBA. He's often lost in the shuffle because he doesn't have incredible passing skills, although they are quite good.

He's probably the best fit for the Spurs because we need his penetration.

Right now, I'd take Kidd as the league's best PG. Then give me Tony, then Deron, Paul (though I need to see him play more), and then Nash.

You cannot be considered the best at your position if you're a liability on one end.

Parker is the best finisher in the league (who doesn't dunk) and has great ability to get to the basket. His jump shooter is deadly. He has significantly improved his FT shooting and his assists are up too. If Tony was a better 3pt shooter he would be hands-down the best PG in the league, but I don't want him taking any more 3s than he does (usually because he's stuck with ball at perimeter on a pass with time winding down, I'm ok with that) because he's such a good shooter inside the arc and such a great finisher. There's no question that Chris Paul is better defensively. I think those two are the best PGs in the league with Deron 3rd. Tony!

Don't know about best player, but tbh, Parker has a chance at best PG in the NBA this year with D. Rose out for season.

Westbrook sure as hell isn't better (wasn't last year either). So the only real competition is Chris Paul, D. Will, and Rondo. I could see TP surpassing them if APG isn't your only measuring stick. Parker's better defensively than CP3 and DWill, and a much better scorer than Rondo. Overall package, arguably best right now. At least is in the conversation.
