yeah, devin got launched then fronted on miller, and then had brad miller pushed into him (good job howard :lol) and then gives a little pussy swing at miller while he's stunned. el classico

He was upset over a non-call, and decided to take it out on the closest Maverick. He's a douchebag.

Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of Harris or Howard, but Miller is the puss of the century.

And that's saying a lot with another 93 years to go...

Miller is. He gets tangled up with a big guy and shoves the smallest guy in the area. Howard's just a dumbass who can't control his temper.

actually after rewatching and slowing it down, before brad and shoves devin, hes turned around and i think he thought it the guy who fouled him (who was running next to devin). not to say its excusable, i was just noting, i dont think the intent was to shove devin

Without the benefit of a wider angle, I'll just wonder aloud how Harris got so close to be able to get pushed. Since he's added manufacturing and dramatically taking contact to his game, it was convenient that he happened to be right there.

Based on something in that video??? :wtfI'd say yeah.

The small shove drew a very Vladesque fall from Harris. Any other player would have just looked at Miller like "wtf, i didn't foul you". Harris is a flopper, and Howard is a punk. Miller is just a confused hick.

So he couldn't tell the difference between a 6-11 white guy and a 6-3 skinny black guy? If that's the case, Miller has bigger problems than just being a huge douche.

I agree with this. There's no way a pussy like Miller would ever be able to shove Devin Harris to the ground without Harris giving him some help.

Harris did it again last night. Bonzi Wells got in his way and he reacted like somebody pulled a gun from first row and shot at him. You have to give him credit though. The refs bought it and called a flagrant one on Bonzi.
For all the whining on how Manu flops, both Harris and Varejao seem to be making a good living out of flopping too.

Harris flops in a different way than Manu. Harris flops by just falling straight down to the ground as if he got shot or something. Manu acts like he got a grenade lanched at him by doing 18 backflips with his arms flailing in all directions every time he gets bumped.

NEW YORK -- [url="http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3732"]Josh Howard (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=3070536) of the Dallas Mavericks (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=dal) has been suspended two games without pay for his involvement in an altercation with Sacramento Kings (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/clubhouse?team=sac) center Brad Miller (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3305).

Howard's penalty was announced Friday by Stu Jackson, the NBA's executive vice president of basketball operations. Howard will begin serving his suspension when Dallas opens its regular-season schedule at Cleveland on Oct. 31.

The Howard-Miller incident occurred with 7:01 remaining in the second period of the Mavs' 101-99 preseason win over the Kings on Tuesday.

Howard escalated a situation involving Miller and Mavs guard Devin Harris (http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/players/profile?statsId=3822) in the second quarter of Tuesday's preseason game. Howard ran across the court, struck Miller in the back of the head with his forearm, pushed him in the back and engaged with other Kings players.

Harris flops in a different way than Manu. Harris seeks out someone who isn't looking, draws little or no incidental contact and flails his arms and snaps his head comically and gets up with a scowl like something unjust has been done to him, and it happens away from the ball as often as not. Manu forces the officials to call actual contact that happens when he or the person he's defending actually have the ball.
Fixed.

He gave Horry a two game suspension for a flagrant two foul in the playoffs against the Suns. Maybe he is just trying to start out the new year with being consistent with his punishments :)

The 2 games suspension is quite logical.
The nba want to avoid at all cost to have global fights on the court. An incident between two players can happen but it must be limited to these two players. The "leave the bench rule" is specially made to avoid global fights.
