Left the game with back spasms. Apparently got an elbow to the back.

You can't even push the guy in 5 preseason games, and he's injured already? How is the going to play 40+ minutes a night, back to back and what not?

In other news, water is wet, and SpursDynasty is an idiot.

doesnt look like it will keep him out for long... but if he is plagued all season with small injuries that keep him out for a couple games at a time... shit, might as well be the same as suffering a serious injury.

Should we take bets on how many times this post will be made throughout the season?

Unfortunately for Hill, everyone pretty much saw this coming

At least we aren't paying him a shitload of money.

he's still supposed to be a big part of what your team does this year... he may not be getting a lot of money from the team... but that doesnt mean his contributions will be pure gravy.

hahahahahahahaha

Trade him for beno before it is too late.

If it's any consolation, so did I. It is the preseason, after all.

As long as it's not his ankle, I can live with it. The ankle is what's kept him out for so long, not varying other injuries. Hopefully this is a good reminder to D'Antoni that his minutes should be down to the start the year. An average of 20-25 per game is just fine. He needn't receive much more than that.

It should be a technical foul if you breathe on Grant Hill. A flagrant 2 no less because it's contact with the intent of bodily injury.

But Grant Hill is the reason Phoenix wins the title this year :rolleyes

I would love to see Grant Hill and Penny Hardaway get into a shoving match.

There WILL be casualties.

holy crap... i was just surfing the nets and started reading a phx suns forum... i thought that one suns fan on here who always brings up ratings was an exception to the rule. turns out he is the rule... seems like everyother post is about ratings and how good they will be.

I visit phxsuns.net and arizonasportsfans.com regularly, and neither board talks much about ratings. You'll have to provide a link if you want to make assertions like that.

I hope this is true -- a small injury early on could be a blessing in disguise if it reminds D'Antoni (and Hill) to be careful.

And unlike Beno, Hill will play through injuries like "broken small toenail."

Grant Hill will be benched with in 2 months at the most during the regular season.

Oh no, not a day to day "injury." Over/under on how many days into the season until Duncan has foot problems is set at 4.

Right worry, wrong Sun
The sight of Grant Hill leaving a game early for the second time in three games made a lot of people worry despite the cautionary nature of the moves. Hill's mid-back spasm is going to be fine. Hill feels well enough to practice Tuesday night but he will be re-evaluated first to decide whether he will be allowed to practice and/or play in the open scrimmage, Suns head athletic trainer Aaron Nelson said.

The Suns who won't be playing is Leandro Barbosa, who bruised his ribs toward the end of Sunday's game in Los Angeles. Barbosa probably will not play in the final two preseason games Thursday and Friday, Nelson said. He will be re-evaluated Thursday.

As far as Amare Stoudemire, it's a full go. He has eased his way back step by step to the point of a full practice Tuesday night. The only thing that might hold him back now is conditioning. That is not to say he hasn't been working on that already but game conditioning is a different animal.

I can't remember where I've seen Xylus' avatar before, but I'm fairly certain it's a well-known rendering... Wish I was smarter than I was so I can remember where I saw it and who created it.

I'm not saying it's not strange, but yours is pedo-pervy...

Thanks to all. I knew it was famous. I'm just absent-minded about most things beyond Sports... And even that's debatable at time :p
