Hi all, long time lurker here, mrsmaalox's thread made me decide to sign up since i'm going to my first ring ceremony game (first spurs home game actually).

anyways quick intro, i'm from Vancouver Canada, been a spurs fan since draft day 97. I've seen a couple of spurs game when they came to town to face the then vancouver grizzlies.

Flying in on Saturday, very excited to finally see the spurs at home! :)

ps i'll be in section 224, any idea if i'll have a good view of the banner raising?

thanks!

Welcome, cnyc3! The upper level (Balcony) seats are fine if you are in the first 10 rows or so, so if you are above the first 10 rows, you will probably want some binoculars to augment your gametime experience. Regardless of where you sit, a live game is always the most exciting way to go!

224 is upper level, almost dead center court. Great view of the game, and the banner will be raised on your left. You will have a good view for that as well. Have fun

I wish I could be there for the banner.

I don't think Spurs fans appreciate how those 10 minutes will mean to the franchise and history forever.

Welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy your time here.

Enjoy your first home game and the wonderful atmosphere that must be at the ring ceremony. (I haven't been that lucky yet.)

If you've spent time lurking here you already know you've found the best Spurs/Sports/Everything else forum on the net.

Welcome cnyc3!! It's always nice to add to the family around here -- don't be a stranger. Have a great time at the game, too.

This Spurs fan does. And those who will sit around me at that ceremony will know as well.
