So, are the spurs going to play their summer league team against the Roxs like the Mavs did?

Will TD,TP, and MG play?

Looking forward to this game, and to the start of the season.

*This is technically the first Scola-bowl game*

all rox-spurs games will be Sola-bowl games from here on out until he is traded or retires.

Well, since it's near the end of the preseason I would assume most teams are trimming down their rosters and trying to get the starters to gel. We could see a legit match-up between these two clubs...at least for a few quarters. But I don't expect the 4th quarter to do justice to this rivalry. And the 4th is when the Spurs are at their best.

Cool, I like this a lot.

The way it sounds you won't see our big guns playing a lot tommorow night but it'll be interesting to see Manu and Fabs versus Scola.

In a perfect world, Popovich would use the final two games of the preseason to get significant minutes for his starters and older veteran players. Because of the preseason-closing back-to-back, Popovich will probably have to rethink that plan.

After playing his regulars significant minutes in Thursday's loss to the Magic, look for him to rest them some today.

Rockets will win even if both teams play full rosters

Nice to know you're still around Fast Dunk.

:lol
I thought he changed teams as well as name.
Shouldn't he be a Celtics fan now because they're projected to come out of the East? :lol

Manu hasn't started for the Spurs for quite some time now. He played off the bench for the entirety of the 2007 Playoffs.

I don't know, we played TP a lot of mins last night. Manu has been playing a lot. This is our last chance to get some real-game speed conditioning, plus we have like 4 days to rest, so, not like we can't use the work. I bet both teams play their main players 75% of their normal mins.

Don't get too excited though, TD is shooting awful and I don't think that indicates what you can expect in May. Horry is not even in town. TP doesn't have a backup with Vaugh and Beno both hurt. I haven't heard much from Barry or Fin yet. Udoka hasn't found a role yet. Our defense doesn't show up until at least New Year's. So, this isn't the team you'll see in May, no.

But it should be a fun one though, lots of new faces to see and we should see a lot of effort from both sides trying to just make some noise.
