I enjoy zombie movies all around, except for the plot every damn movie uses that somebody gets bit, doesn't tell anybody and turns to cause havoc...
Shaun of the Dead gets my vote

AMC is having it's annual Halloween Monster Fest. I just watched Creep Show II. They're gonna be showing some Slasher flicks and the Exorcist, I think.

The apocolyptic themes in zombie movies are what makes them disturbing and therefore enjoyable to me.

I feel a fool for not knowing this but what movie was that?
The original Dawn of the Dead is easily the benchmark for all zombie movies....however the remake of Dawn of the Dead and 28 Weeks Later are probably two of the top scariest Zombie movies ever. The speed of which they run, and in 28wks the quickness of which they turn, makes it ultra creepy.
However, all around, original Dawn of the Dead is the best.

Haha, that is from "Night of the Comet" which isn't really a zombie movie. There were zombies in it, but I wouldnt call it a zombie movie per se.
And I agree, the original Dawn of the Dead is my favorite zombie movie. I didn't care too much for the remake, although it wasn't bad. The zombie baby was definitely funny though, lol.

I still dont understand why people think 28 Weeks Later is better than 28 Days Later?? I like em both, but Days was great. One of my favorite movies, not just Zombie movie, ever.

I just got this movie on netflix and watched it. Fuckin loved it. Gotta love an 80's Armageddon movie, with zombies, moderately hot chicks, gutterpunks, and full course of 80's music.

Awesome flick. They were giving this heavy rotation on either HBO or Cinemax last year, and I watched it like 8 times. VERY 70s with the clothes and hair. :lol
