Oh, stop with that Yankees shit.
Sox are damn good. Let them have it. They earned it and capped a hell of a beautiful baseball season. Best season ever in my lifetime (save for '96 and the Braves).

They deserved it. As much as I liked the underdog Rockies, they weren't the best team in baseball this year. The Sox were, and this is an appropriate finish to the 2007 season.

Never gave up on them even being down 3-1 to Indians. I knew that they had Beckett in game 5, then they had Fenway fans to lift them up to win last 2 games. 4 more in WS, and now Francona has one of the best post season records in baseball. He managed his ass off.
Kielty being inserted at the perfect time(game winner) and Manny being lifted for defense so Ellsbury was in to make that great play at the wall to save an extra base hit. These are moves that winners make, and Francona is a winner.
Congrats to the Sox!!!

Congrats to prob the first legit team to win the World Series in a while.
They were the best team all season and ended being that way.
Refreshing.
Congrats Red Sox, and good luck with the title defense.
Its kinda cool all the old Red sox fans get to see two WS wins though :)

Thanks, man. :toast
And maybe extra innings in game 7 this time???
We need a great WS...3 sweeps in last 4 years and a 4-1 last year......the WS is becoming boring for the casual fans.

My family are all in New England, I can hear them yelping across the country.
It is true what they say, Red Sox Nation is a powerful fanbase.
Jimcs50, congrats to you and your Dad. It's nice he's gotten to see 2 of them so close together.
My father was a die hard fan, he didn't get to see these 2.
Enjoy! :toast

Nice day to be a Boston sports fan...
Nice year
NE Pats being touted to win the SB, Boston College being #2 and chance to play in the big game in Jan., Celtics favored to win the Eastern Conf, and the Red Sox winning their 2nd in 3 years.
Another thing, they thought they got screwed not winning the NBA draft lottery, but as it turned out, it was luck that they did not get Oden, yes?

Congrats Boston and thier fans.
It pains me watching them win it all twice since 2004.
But they were the best team from start to finish.

Nice to know the Rangers wouldnt trade Hank Blalock and John Danks for the ALCS MVP in Josh Beckett and the World Series MVP in Mike Lowell. Instead we got Blalock with a bum shoulder and McCarthy who appears to be DL prone

When the O's have a home game against them at Camden Yards there are so many Sox fans in attendance if your watching the game on television it sounds like the game is a freakin Fenway! :rolleyes
