i dont think he'll ever garner enough assists to be considered an mvp candidate from the pg position.

:lol I highly doubt it. It'll probably go to Duncan (depending on the Spurs record) or Garnett. My dark horse pick this season is McGrady.

It is funny that when someone posted this topic a couple of months ago, some people said it was "crazy" to mention Parker as an MVP candidate. Now you have an "expert" saying the same thing. Parker is in the mix because he is a Finals MVP and is married to Eva Longoria.

I hope to hell he DOESN'T win the mvp, that will mean he played way to many minutes in the regular season. I would like him to play 30-32 a game and sit out a few games during the regular season. I also hope Parker and neither Duncan or Ginobili play in the all-star game and get an extra weekend of rest.

Nothing else matters until the playoffs start as far as I'm concerned.

MVP is a huge honour, no matter how much anyone downplays it...so is an all-star appearance. I hope we sweep all the awards and all three make the all-star team, these guys are professional atheletes, they can handle 35 minutes a night of running around having fun.

Beno has a better chance to win MVP.
