What did Scola do to piss his teammates off? He's getting frozen out.I think he decided he really didn't want to play for Houston either.

Damn, Yao is the slowest dunker in history.

ChumpDumper
10-30-2007, 10:23 PM
This is crazy -- Houston might as well be playing cap space at backup PF.

10-30-2007, 10:23 PM

Scola revised prediction:

he will make a nice play before this game is over :D

Is this game boring, or is it just me that I don't give a fuck about these teams?

ShoogarBear
10-30-2007, 10:25 PM
It just occured to me that Rick Adelman has always had semi-competent point guards, even if he didn't necessarily run the whole offense through them.

A team with Yao and no point guards may not be the best match for him.

Too much ball hogging and over dribbling going on in Housten. Scola is getting the rookie treatment. I don't expect him to attempt more than 3 shots tonight with the way Housten is playing. Didn't T-Mac do those 'Team First' commercials?

ChumpDumper
10-30-2007, 10:28 PM
Scola looks absolutely, completely and utterly lost out there. He was owned a little by Turiaf, but he was getting wide open under the basket Oberto style.

No one is looking for him.

cheguevara

Houston blows and the coach blows. I don't think Scola has anything to do w/it

Skip to my Lou and Tracy Mcgrady out there, they're not looking for anybody, but themselves. Just wait until Stevie gets sent loose. Shane Battier is like 1-6 and he's still chucking as well, what happend to him?

Yeah more so than Scola.

I picked up Wally World for him for my team... but PJ seems to want to let Damien Wilkins and Jeff Green stink it up before Wally

Gotta love that Adelman free-wheelin' style if your McGrady. Just chuck it up there with no one to rebound. No problem.

I don't get it. A team with T-Mac, Mike James, Yao Ming and Bonzi Wells and Luis Scola doesn't get to touch the ball ? LOL, Luke Walon has scored more points for Houston than Scola.

And at least 5 posts defending his stats after the game is over. :lol

Yoohoo, Spurs Dynasty 21, where are you?

Mr. Body
10-30-2007, 11:51 PM
A lot of games left to play for Scola. I do wonder if there are too many offensive options on this team already, with McGrady Yao and Wells before him. Not to mention shoot-first PGs Alston and Francis. But it'll all work out.

MaNuMaNiAc
10-30-2007, 11:53 PM
lets be fair though, Scola hasn't gotten more than 2 or 3 passes the entire game. The plays just don't seem to include him.

SpursIndonesia
10-30-2007, 11:54 PM
Scola's gonna be fine -as long he can adapt to the NBA sooner than later, but setting an altar for his worshipping in the preseason is truly a premature ejaculation talk.

I think for most of the people having fun with this thread, it's less about ragging on Scola and more of ragging on those posters who have had his junk in their mouths all summer long.

I know it is for me. :lol

You'd think with all the hype that the guy could at least score one point.

SpursIndonesia
10-31-2007, 12:13 AM
Yeah, having Scola but not utilizing him properly as a scorer off the block is quite the same as of putting Steve Nash as a defensive stopper, hopeless.

It's so sad that for as talented as Kobe is he is equally selfish. How many more championships would they have won if Kobe/Shaq could've been kept together?

I still think 2005 was destined to be ours, but 2006 could've been Lakers.

Scola makes sense for them as the main post option when Yao is out of the game. His game isn't a bad complement to Yao when both are on the court.

He's a turnstile on the defensive end though.
