Spurs lost.

I know it's early in the season, but you guys should be able to generate better panic than this.

At least the broke 80.

Way to shed the boring label cast upon them back in 1999.

Did anyone play "Swallowing the Spurs"?

spurs ususally start off slow
no reason to panic
pop rested tp to much but he wanted to save tp for playoffs
spurs are rusty because of that

See, when ducks panics he tends to have correct noun-verb matching.

Yeah, actually, I got nothing.

It sucks, but it's hardly panic mode. Now if we lose tomorrow too, I'm sure I could get something really good going.

Not.

Yeah, odd that. Our guys should never have more than 2 days off or they play like crap. Every year the big 4 get a nice 5-7 day rest before the playoffs, and every year we lose the first game.

We lost to the Rockets, Mavs lost to the Hawks.

So? Houston will be a force this year.

There ain't nothing better than a bunch of dipshits mocking pissed off spurs fans.

Do you have fun making a mockery of people bitching on a forum? Stupid sarcastic bullshit that isn't even funny? This is serious business. I didn't see anybody laughing at the bowling alley while the Rockets were tooling the Spurs. That shit wasn't funny..

This is exactly the shit people are talking about.. Spur fan has it to good.... take everything for granted, scratch Pop's balls, bow to the Popovich Heaven.

Fuck that.... I don't take losing to the Rockets, Mavs, Suns or Lakers well at all... All I need to hear is the Spurs won the championship but can't beat the fucking rockets..

It's not fucking funny. They should be a fucking shamed of themselves for playing like ass in the first quarter.....

Bull fucking shit.

if this was last year, I'd have been all over this with 3 threads bitching about the lack of heart.....but.......after seeing how shitty SA looked last year and still managed to win it all, I'll save my whining for later :)

Can anyone tell me why we shot so few 3s tonight? We were 3/8, but until the last few mins had only shot 5 3s! That is not like our team.

Were the Rockets pulling our trick and staying home on the shooters?

Still awaiting the forum meltdown... doesn't seem like it's gonna happen today. Have we at ST collectively gained some perspective? :lol

Buddy get a damn life...it's only the 4th game of the season for crying out loud. The Spurs lost to the bobcats last year and the bucks This isn't the playoffs, they play again tomorrow night and it's a long season there going to be games like this. Would I liked if they won of course but they didn't life goes on!

Life Goes on with the Rockets up 1 to 0.

Life Goes on with the Spurs in the Lottery.

Life Goes on with the Spurs losing in the second round.

Life Goes on without this forum.

Life Goes on............................

I spend more time on this board than I care to admit.
The Spurs, Duncan, are more important to me than I care to admit.

But it's just a November loss to a team we could have beat.
Life does go on.
There will be more losses to teams we should beat before the season ends.

What will matter is how we're playing after the RRT.

I'm sitting up here near the PA and MD border, watching every game the Spurs have played for years, knowing full well they lose 22 to 25 games every year (just like the Mavs lost to the Hawks, the media darlings Lakers to the Hornets, and so on) and went to bed with a ho-hum perspective knowing that some things never change, but also knowing all along the crying and the bitching would be alive and well on this thread this morning.

I was right. Some things never change. All you fair weather Spurs fans are very predictable.

Bonzi "Freakin" Wells killed us again. Lack of rebounding and effort killed the Spurs. I am surprised that the Rockets had that much energy. I thought they'd be a little tired. They were in Dallas the night before, which is not that long a flight, but still the Spurs had three days of rest.

Ditto! This is a marathon and not a sprint. Let's just chill for now and see what Pop has in mind for the next couple of months. Winning every game would be nice but not a high priority. By the All Star break things will most likely be coming together as usual and then we make the push for the playoffs. No need to worry now.

I have a lot of problem generating any disappointment for the Spurs losing. You can't fly under the radar if you're undefeated. It's hard to motivate a team if they'd been outrebounded that badly and won.
