You talking about the final fight? I was flipping back and forth during the spurs game, and it just looked like 2 guys throwing wild haymakers. I'll rewatch it.

I thought both guys at different points of the first round were ready to go.

Skill wise, Bika was more polished, experienced but Codrington threw short, quick punches when he wasn't getting bombarded.

Dude had nothing left in the tank when the ref stopped it.

The first 4 rounds were manic.

Both guys have good skill, good power, and both could have been knocked out at any second. They both knocked each other down in the first round.

btw, I agree with leonard the first two fights were unwatchable.

Contender season 1 was great television. I didn't care much for the past 2 seasons. I guess I need me some Rocky.

Over forced drama. These guys are being pushed behind the scenes to add seasoning. Just worry about the guys training and fighting. It will take care of itself.

I would love to check this show out again but everytime I turn to it I just roll my eyes.

Like this :rolleyes < ------------

I watched season 1 and then was out on the Contender...it was terrible. WAYYYYYYYYYYYY too much editing, crowd/Sly/significant other shots, sound effects, slow motion, etc during the fights...you can't even really formulate an opinion on who you think won the fight. Who knows if you're seeing everything and you have to pay attention because some punches were shown more than once.

Leonard: I agree. I hate the fight editing. They're always panning to the fighter's family (kids, wife, etc.) and then Sugar Ray or whoever is/was hosting the show. You don't get to see a full fight. It's ehh.
