Well, so far one of my bosses gave me the day off with pay and my family is treating me to sushi tonight. And I get my favorite, carrot cake with pistachio ice cream :)

Things could be worse. Even though getting older sucks.

Carrot cake is my favorite cake other than Mockinbird Cake, which nobody else in my family knows how to make. And pistachio is my favorite ice cream. They actually go quite well together, believe it or not. :)

:lol No. It's a really declicious cake with bananas and pineapple and pecans in it with a cream cheese frosting. It takes all day to make, though.

Pistachio is the best! There are plenty of good ice creams but a there is nothing like a good scoop of pistachio. And you are right, gelato is awesome as well.

Have you ever had Amy's pistachio? Before they built an Amy's here in SA, it was a required stop on every trip to Austin.
